I think one thing you may be gaining insight to is why some people aren’t good judges of what’s racist. A person who’s experienced it knows what it is, but a person who hasn’t won’t — unless their empathy is high, their emotional intelligence is strong, and their willingness to listen to victims exist.

When those are absent, it’s hard for some people to see it. But for the victims, it’s always obvious.
